Jayden Tranby was born a bilateral congenital amputee in PRC. When he was two years old he was adopted by an American family and moved to Oregon. With the love and encouragement of his adoptive parents, Jayden learned to accomplish all daily and extracurricular activities using his feet. Jayden struggles with social anxiety and finds painting a way of communicating his thoughts and feelings more easily. Jayden is so fortunate to live surrounded by the natural beauty of the Cascade Mountains as it provides a great deal of inspiration for his art. When Jayden is not painting, he enjoys para-nordic skiing camping and constructing Lego.

Jayden was accepted as a Student Member in 2024.
