USA Artist Paints Portrait of Pierce Brosnan

Ms Paré sought to expand her skills at portraiture by painting Mr. Brosnan in the role for which he is best known. She also embarked on the task of painting the actor as himself, an even more challenging feat.

The two paintings are outstanding, so much so that MFPA reached out to Mr. Brosnan in the hopes that Ms Paré might present the paintings to him. Mr. Brosnan is a patron of the arts, as well as an artist himself and invited Ms. Paré to his home to discuss their mutual love of art and to receive his portrait, which he was thrilled to describe as exemplary.

An Inspirational Encounter

Mariam was invited to the private home of Mr. Brosnan after he learned about the talented young artist and the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists. During her visit, Mariam presented Mr. Brosnan with two paintings in his likeness: one of him as James Bond 007 and one of the actor today. Mr. Brosnan was deeply impressed by Mariam’s work, which he described as “exemplary”. During her time with Mr. Brosnan, the two enjoyed coffee together whilst discussing their love of the arts and their belief that art can help transcend tragedy.
